The Association of Participants Agora and the Association of Women Heura , have new boards of Directors since yesterday afternoon. The General Meeting held in the room records of the Civic center Sant Martí, gave a lot of support to the new board of Ágora, headed by Armando Macias, and to the new board of Heura, headed by Tomi Arteaga.

Àgora Association part of the School for Adult People La Verneda-Sant Martí, won the X Prize "Barcelona Associations," delivered by the Mayor Jordi Hereu, at the Hall of Cent of the City Council of Barcelona.

Since the beginning of this course 2009/2010 we have had lots of visitors of professors and students from University, Adults Schools and other Education Centers from all the World.

In the Hall of Palau Sant Jordi of the Generalitat de Catalunya we celebrated the institutional recognition of the pedagogue and freethinker Francesc Ferrer i Guardia (1859-1909), shot in 1909 at the Castle of Montjuic.

Dr. Imanishi Kouzou, professor of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Kobe Gakuin came from Japan to Barcelona to know our School.

Mr. Jordi Ausàs, Councillor of Governance and Public Administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya visited our School on this Thursday 13th May, with the general director of Governance Action of the Governance Department, Xavier Garriga.
